The Musée has over 250
collected pieces among which many are life size. They will allow you to
discover the entire evolution of wood sculpting, starting from the famous
Bourgault brothers (more then fifty pieces) up to the new generation.

Constantly on the lookout
for unique works of art. The museum has added, in the course of
the last few years, remarkable pieces such as: reproductions of
selected illustrations onto wood sculptures, in homage to Norman
Rockwell.
Sculptures of René Lévesque (life size
made by Jacques Bourgault) Pierre Elliot Trudeau (Benoi Deschênes),
Félix Leclerc, the sculptures of Jean Béliveau and
Harry Potter made by David Deschênes.

The Musée des Anciens Canadiens is a unique
site in Quebec where you will find all the passion of the craftsmen
throughout incomparable works of art.
